C1-20 20 in. x 2-1/2 in. Carbon Water Filter

This Pentek C1-20 carbon-impregnated cellulose filter cartridge reduces fine sediment and chlorine taste and odor in residential drinking water. It has a nominal filtration rating of 5 microns at an efficiency of 85%. The filter will reduce free available chlorine (FAC) at 2 PPM by at least 75% in up to 5,000 Gal. at a flow rate of 2 GPM. The cartridge is made of cellulose media that has been impregnated with powdered activated carbon (PAC), with a polyester backing and external polyethylene netting for strength. It has an initial pressure drop of 1 psi at a flow rate of 5 GPM, and operates over a temperature range of 40°F to 125°F (4.4°C to 51.7°C). This filter cartridge is for use in residential drinking water purification.
